Hockey season isn't the only thing launching: Brittany and I are thrilled to announce that I've officially submitted my name for District Court Judge Seat 8 that will be vacated by Judge Fox's retirement at the end of October! Breaking News!! Because the Governor’s appointment for Judge Fletcher's seat after the bar vote will only serve through December 31, 2026, and not for the entire remainder of the term, the Guilford County Democratic Party Executive Committee will be selecting a name NEXT THURSDAY, February 5th to appear on the ballot THIS November! This is because the vacancy occurred after the filing deadline and the name must be submitted within 7 days of the vacancy (which is January 31st). It's time! Primary Day is Tuesday, March 5th! Thank you to Citadel Campus Ministry and Rev. Drumwright for the invite to March to the Polls! A&T showed up tonight! It's the final week of Early Voting!
